Hi Everyone: I like Margery, had a life changing situation 20 years ago. I learned I had a Brain Tumor in my right ear. It was removed successfully and left me deaf in that ear. A few years later I learned, during a follow up MRI, that there was new tumor in my left ear. My only hearing ear. Which means I have NF2, a very rear disease. Monitoring that tumor for the last 17 years, it has not shown measureable growth. Thank You God! If they try to remove it, it would distort any hearing I have left. I am now in my mid 60's and age is now playing a part in my ablitiy to hear. :o(
I have always been athletic and the after effects of surgery really put a wrench in my ability to perform. However, that doesn't mean I stopped trying. I love to walk, hike, ride a bike, Kayak and share my life with my Husband and hearing service dog, Shayna a 13 1/2 yr old dog (all of 5 1/2 lbs) that hikes and stays active. She refuses to grow old. Do you think she gets that from me?
Having a love for music since I was a child, but had no time for it being a single Mom, raising 2 children alone, I decided to start again 5 years ago. When I had more time on my hands. I now play several instruments and sing both for myself and perform at Churches, Communities and Nursing homes. I reinvented my life.
I found Ameribag about 4 years ago and have owned 6 or 7 bags and given them as gifts. My newest one is 2 weeks old.
Thanks Margery for developing this wonderful product and sharing your story. Us "Sisters" have to stick together.
Ameribag fan for Life,

Well, I don't run a business, although I am very thankful to those who do. Some academics scorn business, which makes me crazy. Who do they think pay the taxes that pay for our work? And as to this particular business...thank goodness you exist. Your bag has literally changed my life. I used to have shoulder pain pretty much all the time. Now, pretty much never. My best friend bought me an Ameribag several years ago because she said her stepmother had tried one and never looked back. Now, me too. I don't know how you came up with the idea (I'm sure it's detailed on your website, but I don't have the time or inclination to investigate), but I'm really glad you created this product. Keep up the great work!

Amen! I own my own business and while my family does not work for me, each family member plays a special role in supporting my business, so they are in a way all my partners. I wouldn't be successful without them. From giving me advise when I call about a crisis, or watching the homestead when I am gone on a business trip, my family makes my job possible. It's nice to know that there are companies and families that stick together in a world that is constantly changing!
